K, see, I have this friend name Christian Martinez, and I've known him since he was a little fat kid that liked drums. Over the years, he's gotten tall, had become a professional weight lifter [sort of] and has mastered the electric guitar.
Well, he finally has a band up and running. After gaining and losing several members, they finally have a full band. Almost out of recording and already having booked the largest Venue in the area [Which is impressive for a first show] they're making amazing progress!
I guess it pays to be a good and supportive friend, because I've been pretty much added to the band. I'm the guy they go to to talk things out with and plus I've been a major supporter since [literally] day one. With over 1000 fans, they still recognize me, and I get to do just about whatever I want with the band.
It's just a great feeling knowing that Good things can and even do happen to good people.
I'm going to be there for the first show too, which is exciting for me because I finally get to see how a crowd reacts to my friends hard work, and also because they're opening for Becoming the Archetype, a band I'm fairly fond of.
I'm fucking excited!

come and nestle thy wounded spirit in the feathers of my oasis and feel it
feel the softest lightest touch of soothing
hear the gentlest barely audible words of one who through them is renewing
all that life has cast thy way, this I vow, each night on
Good to have you back
